Great place in a awesome location. Eat there inside, outside, at the boardwalk, or in the covered picnic area. Great baskets. We had the clam basket, which was great, generous, and very reasonably priced. The fries are battered and yummy. The chowder was a little under seasoned, but still good. A great place to eat seafood.
MoreSimple and excellent food. Majority of option yield from the sea. Local caught if available. But if a wait on a weekend but worth it. Crab sandwich and the chowder are worthy items and should be tried.
MoreVery amazing fish place with high quality fish! Highly recommend the cod! Best you'll ever have!
MoreThe fish and chips is a tasty choice. The clam chowder bread bowl is creamy and the bread is fresh. The people are friendly. This place is a great stop for good food. :)
MoreVery disappointing. Ordered Alaskan halibut. If that's halibut, we've never had halibut in our life. Definitely cod as we both got the same queasy feeling we always get after eating cod. Fries are not 'chips'. Chips are made fresh from potatoes and not greasy. The potatoes starch covered grease magnets should be banned. Neither of us ate even half. We also skipped dinner as the leaden bloat had still not subsided 5 hours later.
MoreThe oysters and calimari were perfect. The calimari was the best I've had in a while. Great lunch spot. Clean eating area. Very friendly staff. I would definitely drive from Eugene back here to try more of the menu options.
MoreOur favorite fish and chips in Bandon! we go at liest every other week.
Best place on the coast for fish & chips and clam chowder.
This is the place to go for fish and chips in Bandon! I'd even go so far as to say it was probably the best fish and chips along the entire coast. The batter is thin and light so as not to drown out the delicate taste of your fish of choice. In a surprising turn (for American cuisine) the food is actually not salted enough and our only criticism, although that's easily remedied with a shaker. A perfect stop for lunch and a beer!
MoreThe food was 5 stars. Fried Halibut was wonderful, but the 45 min wait AFTER the half hour wait to order? I would have declined if they let me know how long the wait was. Also, when I finally asked a young lady how long the wait was after 45 minutes, she miraculously got the food right away. I think I was a forgotten order.
MoreNice place to grab lunch. Food was inexpensive, and hot.
Such great fish, my go to lunch place when we go to Bandon.
We both ordered the cod fish n chips, we probably could have split an order. Glad we didn’t because the fish was AWESOME, plenty of tarter sauce really good fries and garlic toast was tasty too. One of my favorite places to eat when in Bandon. If your there definitely give it a try 👍👍👍
MoreGreat place to grab a quick lunch or a longer dinner. Lots of outdoor seating with views of the ocean and downtown. Dog friendly outside. The smoked salmon chowder was amazing and the bay shrimp salad was generously portioned with very fresh shrimp. Close to downtown shopping/boardwalk. Must-stop if in downtown Bandon.
MoreExcellent Halibut fish and chips...hands down.
Fresh and tasty. The shrimp/crab sandwich was amazing.
Great food, slightly higher than average pricing, had a long wait but we did go during peek business hours.
MoreIt was to packed nobody practicing social distancing some people wearing mask but food and service was great.
MoreGreat food in a beautiful location! Too bad they close at dinner time while all the tourist are there! Saw them turn away over 5 groups around 7pm. People from all over the US and the world! It was nice having the whole dock to myself! Too beautiful to close so early where many could watch the sun set.
MoreWe ordered Halibut fish and fries today. Best we have ever had.
Genuinely one of the greatest seafood restaurants I’ve visited. For starters, every other restaurant does clam chowder, but none do it like here. It’s absolutely delicious, steaming, and savory. Also, if you’re lucky enough to visit while they have the salmon fish and chips available, I can’t recommend it enough. Their fish and chips always pack so much flavor with amazing fries on the side. This is certainly my go-to while on the pier.
MoreThe best Clam Chowder I've ever had!!!! Good fish and chips too. The fish tacos are big but yummy. I would highly recommend for anyone who visits Bandon.
MoreGreat pla e for fresh rockfish fish-n-chips.
Excellent, fresh sourced fish house that has some very tasty food choices. If you're into seafood, you can't go wrong with this place. It has an obvious, fish shack look, but trust that the place is great. It's so close to the harbor, it's difficult to maintain the building to your typical clean look. The inside could use a refresh, but they have the fish market setting down. I had the shrimp and lobster sandwich with a side of hot clam chowder. Perfect for the crispy November evening. My son and wife both had the fish and chips (halibut and fries) and both loved the taste and freshness. They do their best with seating inside the place, but most order to go. In fact, whether you stay or go, it's all packaged conveniently as to go boxes. Makes clean up easy and you can just leave with your food if you don't finish.
MoreDrove all up and down the Oregon coast. Brandon’s got the two best places to eat. This place and Tony’s Crab Shack. Here, I got the Halibut fish and chips with cole slaw and the bf got the traditional chowder bread bowl. The chowder is very good! Lots of clams! I don’t think I even saw a potato but that’s because they had a lot of better ingredient fillers. Worth every penny on the halibut. I don’t normally like fried foods but seeing everyone’s review, I decided to try. The batter is SO LIGHT. Giant chunks of white flaky perfectly done fish. The fries had a very nice light crunchy batter. I ate everything. We stayed in Gold Beach and Brookings and went to restaurants in those towns, in hindsight, it would’ve been worth the extra miles to drive to Bandon just to eat on the docks here.
MoreFish was pretty good. The employees were very young and not super polite but all in all I would eat there again.
MoreFresh and great tasting food! With service that matches the fare. Sooooo good!
Good food, slow service.
Nice food, except when they forget to place your order and you wait forever...
Amazing halibut fish and chips. Some of the best food I've had in Bandon.
Best fish and chips in Oregon
Very busy, rather spendy for the small portion, stuffy inside. Everyone seemed to enjoy their meals.
MoreFirst of all, it's located in Old Town on the wharf. Lovely setting, great personnel and delicious food. Has outdoor seating when weather allows. Small, tight seating inside, but wonderful nonetheless. Best bread bowls of chowder, and fish and chips were cooked just right. Enjoy!
MoreTraveling down the 101. Family of 6 ate very well for $50. Great chowder
Won't name names but we made the mistake of trying fish and chips in Coos Bay. Was over priced and over cooked. Bandon Fish market is worlds better than anything else on the coast.
MoreExcellent fish and chips. Today it was the cod. Big pieces of fish, great light batter. Last time it was the prawns which were huge and there were ten or eleven pieces. Always fresh.
MoreI would return. They were out of most everything, so I had the lingcod fish and chips, which was tasty. It took 40 minutes to get for some reason, but I wasn't in a hurry.
MoreThe best fish & chips ever, the biggest chunks of fish, well worth it
Large portions, great food!
Good food but to greasy for us.
Wonderful fish and chips and wonderful clam chowder and wonderful sweet ice tea.
Excellent fish and Chips. Our go to place in Bandon by the Sea
The grilled salmon will make you sick !! the clams were nothing but burnt batter. And we had to wait an hour. Never again. We walked down to Tony's Crab shack and had a wonderful dinner
MoreSuper disappointed in the smoked salmon. It was super dry and looked like it was starting to go bad. Frustrating when I paid almost $20. 2 stars because the other food items were really good.
MoreVery long wait for good food. Expect a 40 minute wait.
I love eating here every time I am in Bandon. The food is always fresh and really good. It is a bit of a wait for your food because it is made fresh and it is worth it. The fish taco was very tasty. You can't beat the area for authentic sea food. The employees are always friendly.
MoreI'm glad that I was able to find this little market!! The fish that we purchased was just great (Rock cod) and the staff was quick to help us with all our questions. It was awesome and we will return!!
MoreI'm so glad that I stumbled upon this place while passing through Bandon! It's just a little shack on the Ocean, but don't let that fool you! They cook up fresh fish, and their fish and chips are superb! Highly recommended if you are staying in Bandon, or even if you are just passing through like I was.
MoreIt was good, so far as the food, not the wait.
I had halibut fish and chips clam chowder. So fresh and good
